Nhaka YeVatema Heritage
Nhaka YeVatema, with the assistance of its implementing partner Tzuchi Zimbabwe, conducted a food aid community intervention in Zaka District on 11 September 2026, as part of the organisation's commitment to supporting vulnerable and marginalised communities and improving household food security. The intervention reached 400 households, with each household receiving 10 kg of rice as a food supplement — a total of 4,000 kg (4 metric tonnes) distributed to identified beneficiary households. The distribution was conducted in the presence of Hon. C. Chiduwa, Member of Parliament, together with community leadership and other stakeholders who attended to witness and support the intervention.
